The site and building
 The
building will be divided into three main segments,
one for the Visitor Centre, one for housing
and one for offices and labs. The total area
will be about 1.500
m2.
The land side already
procured, is 7.000 m2, allowing for future expansion.
The building will
be constructed during spring/summer of 2007,
applying the best available technologies regarding
materials, energy supply and saving, and water
treatment.

Financial
structure
The infrastructure will be built and owned by Runde Miljøbygg AS, a limited company owned by Runde Miljøsenter
AS and other shareholders (see list below).
The funding for design and construction will primarely be private,
mixed with some public and state sponsorship.
Construction cost is at 30 mill NOK. Share
capital is presently (March 07) at 5.5
mill NOK.
