Tourist Information opened its
doors
While the building for Runde Environmental Centre
is still under construction, researchers and staff
of the centre are using a rental space in the
former shop of the island. During the summer season
of 2008, Herøy community (Herøy
Næringsforum) is financing the operation
of the tourist information bureau by Runde Environmental
Centre. On May 1, 2008, the information first
opened its doors and was inspected by visitors
and locals alike.
