Wave power
Runde Environmental Centre has acquired a wave
power plant, ‘Storwave’, which is
a fixed, shorebased plant with a chamber for
collecting the power.
The Centre will promote the use of renewable
energies, and especially ocean energies like
waves, tidal and heat. Plants will be installed
for demonstration and education, and later for
harnessing the power as well.
